Smoke Damage Restoration
Smoke remediation efforts in a commercial building after the building owner suffered a fire loss. The fire required the removal of the ceiling and wall insulation; cleaning all of the exposed wood studs, joists, subfloor and sheathing. We then applied a pigmented shellac to seal the porous products in an effort to control the smoke smell. We were engaged on this loss eight months post the Date of Loss and Photo #1929 shows the difference in our work products. The smoke sealing on the left is the work product of another local restoration company and the smoke sealing on the right is our work product.
